The game ends when none of the pieces left in your tray fit anywhere on the board. You can run out of moves while empty squares remain.
Block Puzzle has no timer and no move limit. It ends when none of the pieces you still hold can be placed.
What is checked
- The game tries each remaining tray piece at every position on the board.
- If at least one piece fits somewhere, play continues.
- If none do, the game is over, even with plenty of empty squares scattered about.
Pieces that are already placed are not counted. If you use two pieces and the third no longer fits, the game ends before the tray refills.
At the end
The No more moves summary shows your final score, personal best and the number of pieces placed. Play again starts a new board and keeps your best. Because pieces cannot be rotated (details), keep open areas that a variety of shapes can use. The strategy guide explains how.
