Does a flush count in the crib?

Only a five-card flush counts in the crib: all four crib cards and the starter must share one suit, for 5 points. A four-card crib flush scores nothing.

The crib has a stricter flush rule than a hand. For the crib to score a flush, all four of its cards and the starter must be the same suit, which is worth 5 points.

If the four crib cards are all hearts but the starter is a club, the crib gets nothing for the flush. The same four hearts in a player’s hand would still score 4.
