Three or more connected bubbles of the same colour pop. Your shot must join a group; larger groups already on the board do not pop by themselves.
A group pops when three or more bubbles of the same colour touch each other, counting the one you just shot.
Things to know
- The group is checked after every shot, starting from the bubble you added. Bubbles can touch along any of the six neighbouring positions.
- Two touching bubbles are not enough. Shoot a third of that colour into the group to pop all three.
- A group of three or more already on the board does not pop on its own. It pops only when your shot joins it.
- Colours are also marked with symbols, so you can tell them apart without relying on colour alone.
Popping bubbles can also make others fall: see why bubbles fall. A shot that does not pop anything counts as a miss, and five misses in a row add a row.
